I completed my doctoral work in clinical psychology at Miami University of Ohio, where I was trained in family systems therapy and interpersonal/relational therapy. I received additional clinical experiences at the University of Oregon in a pre-doctoral internship, gaining further experience in group work and individual psychotherapy. My Ph.D in Clinical Psychology was awarded in 1996. I have worked with children, families and adults for the past 25 years as a clinician and educator in both the public and private sector.
I have had additional training emphasis in play therapy, solution-focused therapy, Circle of Security work, and in professional mediation.
